We are operational all year round, and due to the nature of the work we do, you will work a range of shifts covering day times, weekends, and bank holidays. Your contractual working week is an average 37.5 hrs per week on a rolling rota including weekends. Evening shifts range from 5 pm to 1 am; flexibility is key as there may be occasions when you are required to start earlier or finish later, but we operate a rota basis (provided approx. 10 weeks in advance) that allows you the flexibility to enjoy meaningful time off to do the things you enjoy and love.

Key Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll travel to visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment. You’ll either work alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer. Each interaction is an opportunity to build confidence in both you and the justice system, reassuring them of safety. By helping reduce the pressure on the prison system, you enable ex-prisoners to reintegrate into their community. Every day and every individual are different, making this role varied and full of opportunities.

You’ll receive 3 weeks of training and will be accompanied by an experienced Officer/Mentor on the road until you’re comfortable in your new role. What You Need to Do the Job

Our current Electronic Monitoring Field Officers come to us with different work and life experiences; what matters is that you’re committed to making a difference to the lives of others. You must have a current valid UK driver’s license, be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communication skills, essential to building relationships and rapport with any individual you meet.

All offers of employment are subject to Baseline Personnel Standard Security vetting, which includes right to work/identity checks, a basic criminal record check and verification of the last three years of employment or academic activity.
