As a Project Manager in our UKRA team, you’ll lead the planning, delivery and assurance of complex projects that support national resilience and security. Your work will help create impactful solutions that matter – for our customers, our colleagues and the communities our work touches. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering programmes that strengthen capability across government and industry. From major bids to high‑profile, multi‑stakeholder projects, your work will have purpose, visibility and a positive impact on the future.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and close‑out of complex projects within agreed cost, timescale and quality parameters
- Coordinate cross‑business activity, bringing together teams such as marketing, business development, learning and development, and operations
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, engagement and trust at every stage
- Track progress, benefits, risks and issues, providing clear reporting and actionable insights to project sponsors and leaders
- Champion strong project management practices, continuous improvement and the sharing of lessons learned
- Support the effective identification and management of project risks
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering projects in complex and regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Confidence working in matrix organisations across multiple locations and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, influencing and reporting skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly
- A collaborative, inclusive leadership style and a recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or equivalent experience
Security & Vetting
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. Depending on the nature of the role, formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC) may also be required.
