Serco is hiring skilled professionals to support the U.S. Navy and U.S. Naval ships on the Chesapeake Sea Enterprise (SURFLANT) program in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabricating, assembling, and installing electromechanical and electronic assemblies for C5ISR systems
  • Applying safety techniques
  • Working closely with customers and team members on the program

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Shipboard or shipyard experience or related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS) and willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Work onsite five days a week
  • Certifications as required
  • Experience in one of the following: marine electrician (2‑15 yrs), welder (1‑10 yrs), structural technician (2‑10 yrs), installation technician (8‑10 yrs), production lead (8‑10+ yrs), technical specialist (8‑10 yrs)
  • Strong safety focus

Additional Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • OSHA Certification
