Serco is hiring skilled professionals to support the U.S. Navy and U.S. Naval ships on the Chesapeake Sea Enterprise (SURFLANT) program in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing electromechanical and electronic assemblies for C5ISR systems
- Applying safety techniques
- Working closely with customers and team members on the program

Qualifications and Experience:
- Shipboard or shipyard experience or related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS) and willingness to travel up to 10%
- Work onsite five days a week
- Certifications as required
- Experience in one of the following: marine electrician (2‑15 yrs), welder (1‑10 yrs), structural technician (2‑10 yrs), installation technician (8‑10 yrs), production lead (8‑10+ yrs), technical specialist (8‑10 yrs)
- Strong safety focus

- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- OSHA Certification
