As a Configuration (CM) Specialist, you will be part of the Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems (IUSS) Product Support Facility (PSF) team supporting our NAVSEA and NIWC customers. You will work on high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy, bringing expertise and collaborative skills to contribute to national defense.
Responsibilities:
- Work extensively with government personnel maintaining configuration files for supported systems.
- Develop, compile, and update Allowance Parts Lists (APL) to support afloat platforms.
- Review Base Electronic System Engineering Plans (BESEPs), extract pertinent data and update the master configuration files.
- Participate in Physical Configuration Audits/Inspections (PCA/PCI), record results, and prepare files for upload into the data repository.
- Perform required duties during Integrated Logistics Overhauls (ILOs), record results, and prepare trip reports and data input.
- Travel OCONUS in support of the customer mission.
- Provide technical assistance and information in the form of briefings, phone conversations, VTCs, MS Teams meetings, etc. to customers and government staff as required.
- Other logistics/configuration related duties as may be required in support of the PSF mission and the government customer.
Qualifications:
- An active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- An Associate’s Degree and at least one year of configuration experience; or a High School Diploma with at least three years of configuration experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Availability to work on site five days a week.
- Capacity to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25% of the time and operate independently at remote locations for emerging requirements.
