Location: RAF Coningsby, LN4 4TG

Salary: £25846.26 plus 15% shift allowance per annum and benefits

Schedule: Full time, permanent – 39 hours per week. Two weeks day shift (07:00 – 15:45), two weeks night shift (15:45 – 02:45). To be discussed further at interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare aircraft and components to meet Serco quality standards
  • Remove coatings using manual, chemical, and specialist media processes
  • Follow strict health, safety, and environmental rules, including COSHH
  • Use, handle, and store paints and materials correctly
  • Work in controlled areas and help keep colleagues safe
  • Speak up and take action if something isn’t safe or approved

Security & Clearance: This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. Depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
