Location: Chesterfield - S40/S80. Due to the nature of the role and operational requirements you must live within close proximity to S40/S80 postcodes.

This role is part of our Electronic Monitoring Service and offers the chance to join a team where your contributions are valued and to positively impact the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, working alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer.
- Build confidence in the individuals you meet and reassure them of their safety and the safety of the public.
- Contribute to reducing pressure on the prison system and help ex-prisoners reintegrate into the community.
- Receive about 3 weeks of training and be accompanied by an experienced Officer/Mentor on the road until you are comfortable in the role.
- Work on a rota basis with an average 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays; shifts may include evenings (approx. 5pm to 1am) with some flexibility required.
What you need to do the job
- Demonstrate a commitment to making a difference to the lives of others; the rest will be learned during initial training and through shadowing & mentorship.
- Have a current valid UK driver’s license, be reasonably fit, and have good written and verbal communication skills essential to building relationships and rapport with individuals you meet.
