Base Location: Warrington Hybrid with 3 days in Office
Here within our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) we focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system, ensuring that vulnerable asylum seekers have access to the support they need along with a safe standard of accommodation.
Due to extensive growth within the contract, we are expanding our Property Sourcing Team and are looking for someone with the drive and passion to make a difference to Social Housing. Ideally, you will come from a background in sales and or property (i.e. Estate Agency Sales/Lettings/Portfolio) and you will enjoy working as part of a team, where you will identify and procure accommodation of the appropriate volume for AASC.
Key components of this role include:
- Searching for target properties and identifying prospect properties.
- Establishing and maintaining landlord, investor and agent networks, liaising and negotiating with Landlords, Agents and Investors to promote the Serco Lease and Serco Property Standards.
- Managing properties through the pipeline to the point they are available for occupation.
- Actively searching for new properties in targeted areas through local estate agents.
- Working with local Agents, Landlords and Investors to make them aware of the type and volume of properties that the AASC Contract requires.
- Building personal network in the areas to create a flow of properties to put forward to the AASC Contract (matching the Contract’s needs), forging strong relationships with property providers.
- Meeting with potential landlords to discuss property requirements and identify prospects.
- Completing/checking the required paperwork/forms for the property (including EPC, proof of ownership, planning permissions, meter readings, Local Authority Building Control applications and other related documentation).
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Extensive experience in sales and or property sector/market.
- Proven sales and negotiation experience.
- Sound commercial and business awareness to understand the context in which the business operates.
- A valid UK drivers’ licence, and you will be expected to travel to events on occasions.
