As a business analyst in our Justice & immigration contracts, your responsibility will be to understand the organisations requirements, identify areas for innovation, and initiate data driven solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The Business Analyst should support stakeholders to formulate a route from where the business is today, to where it needs to be in the future.
You\’ll be entrusted to:
- Elicit, validate, prioritise, and document business requirements and translate them into functional, non-functional and technical requirements
- Work with internal development teams to oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders through workshops and other methods of interaction to elicit business requirements aligned to business objectives
- Produce refined User Stories & wireframes that validate the needs of the users, and clearly define acceptance criteria for development, QA & UAT
- Produce all relevant further documentation and information which is in line with business requirements (BRDs, Traceability Matrix etc.)
- Collaborate with technical architects to understand technology limitations and recommend development options to meet business needs
- To lead the required implementation of identified business process re-engineering activities, providing information, and generating solutions as determined within the projects.
- Document processes that demonstrate how the data and platform should be used to ensure that the platform is optimised and meets the needs of the business
- Collaborate with internal/external development teams to oversee the implementation of new technology and systems.

- Recognised qualification in Business Analytics (ideally BCS certified) with strong experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and process modelling.
- Skilled at articulating API specifications documents into business requirements
- Confident handling complex data and systems, with solid background in business process application design and technical specifications.
- Proficient in Jira, Visio, Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Skilled in business process re-engineering, identifying improvements and innovative service delivery solutions.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills, essential for working effectively across diverse teams and functions.
