Location: Brighton Combined Court, Brighton, BN2 0RF
Salary: £23,402 (35 hours per week) plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 35 hours per week, early and late shifts on a rota basis (rota provided 12 weeks in advance). Flexibility required; please include further details as needed.
Responsibilities
- Escort and supervise detainees during court proceedings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain security, order, and discipline at all times, taking action to prevent incidents and escapes.
- Complete security checks and searches within agreed timescales and standards.
- Monitor and support the mental and physical health of detainees, reporting concerns as needed.
- Work closely with court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals to ensure smooth operations.
- Accurately complete paperwork and data entry, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
