As Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective and welcoming operation of the leisure centre. Leading colleagues across a range of activities, you'll help create positive experiences for customers while supporting a culture of safety, trust and continuous improvement. Your work has purpose, helping people of all ages stay active, healthy and connected while making a positive impact on communities and contributing to a better future.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the leisure facility, ensuring activities are delivered safely and to a consistently high standard
- Lead, motivate and support operational colleagues, ensuring effective deployment to meet the daily programme
- Monitor the facility throughout the day, responding proactively to operational, customer service and safety requirements
- Take control of incidents, accidents and emergency situations, ensuring the appropriate procedures are followed
- Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation, site procedures and company policies, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Support excellent customer experiences by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service across the centre
