Overview
We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, supporting healthier and happier people across the local community. As a Group Exercise Instructor you’ll inspire and support customers to achieve their fitness goals while delivering safe, engaging and high-quality exercise sessions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and safe group exercise classes and fitness sessions including HIIT, circuits, power pump, step, and body conditioning
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing coaching, advice and motivation
- Carry out fitness assessments, programmes and goal setting in line with site processes
- Promote healthy lifestyles and actively support community engagement activities
- Maintain equipment, cleanliness and high standards across the facility
- Support retention and sales activities, including promoting fitness services and digital tools
Qualifications
- A recognised Level 2 fitness qualification and CIMSPA accreditation (or working towards it)
- Les Mills qualification (or training provided)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers of all ages and abilities
- A passion for health and fitness, with a commitment to personal wellbeing
- A proactive, positive attitude with high levels of integrity and motivation
- A team-focused approach with flexibility and professionalism
Vetting & Checks
This role requires a Basic DBS check, which will disclose any unspent convictions in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
