Salary: £34,997.02 per annum + excellent benefits
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6.00am - 2.30pm with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.
As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Basingstoke team, you will provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Basingstoke. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
You’ll Be Entrusted To:
- Set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
- Be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
- Ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready before setting out on your rounds.
