Schedule: Casual contract, term time only, working hours 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.
What you’ll do as a Children’s Activity Assistant:
- Provide clean, safe, and supervised facilities and activities for children at the Leisure Centre.
- Ensure the smooth operational running of all types of parties the centre holds and provide party guests with first‑class levels of customer service.
- Keep children entertained, creating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.
About You:
- Experience dealing with high volumes of children in a busy, customer‑based environment.
- Enthusiastic, resilient, and able to liaise professionally with parents, customers, and other members of the workforce, while thinking on your feet and communicating effectively.
- Willing to learn and contribute to a safe and fun place for local children.
Vetting & Checks:
- An Enhanced DBS check (spent and unspent convictions, cautions, etc.) is required.
- An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed.
