In this hands‑on leadership role, your work will have a positive impact on communities every day. What You’ll Do
- Open and close the facility, maintaining the security of the building during operating hours.
- Inspect and monitor the facility throughout the day, deploying colleagues effectively.
- Lead, direct and motivate colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of service.
- Provide information, instruction, induction and training so colleagues can carry out their roles safely and effectively.
- Manage incidents, including accidents and emergencies, in line with procedures.
- Reconcile cash and transactions, ensuring financial controls and cash security are maintained.
Qualifications
- Experience of facility management or supervision within the leisure industry.
- Relevant qualifications including the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), Pool Plant Operators Certificate and First Aid at Work.
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Confident IT skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks accurately.
Vetting and Checks
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
