Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Site-based at Brize Norton or Aldershot, with regular travel across SE/SW England

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, core hours 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility required for travel

VIVO Accommodation is looking for a motivated Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial Team and help us deliver value, efficiency, and excellence to some of the UK’s most important contracts.

What You’ll Be Doing: You will be primarily site-based at Brize Norton or Aldershot but will travel approximately one day a week to visit a selection of sites across the southeast and southwest regions. Your core tasks will include site valuations, financial reconciliations, managing payments to subcontractors, checking construction documents, attending meetings, engaging with stakeholders, and assisting the Senior Commercial Manager. You’ll work remotely as part of a team, often lone working, and will take full responsibility for your own work. Throughout the role, you will develop a wide range of commercial skills and knowledge while studying towards a Foundation Degree in Quantity Surveying as part of your apprenticeship.

Who We’re Looking For: We welcome applicants aged 18 or over with a post-A Level education or equivalent qualifications such as BTEC. Some work experience is preferred but does not have to be in construction. You should have proficient IT skills, especially in Excel, and hold a full UK driving license to support travel requirements. Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory due to the nature of the contracts involved. Most importantly, you must be willing to study towards a Foundation Degree in Quantity Surveying and eager to develop a successful career in the commercial construction sector.
