Kent based - looking after the leisure sites within the contract. Up to £50,000 per annum dependant on experience and company car. Full time, Permanent.
Ready to make an impact? As a Technical and Energy Manager in our Leisure team, you will be required to provide diverse professional services to ensure that the facilities are always fully Statutory and Contract Compliant. You will consistently review utility data and analyse with a view to efficiently and effectively reduce national grid energy consumption, optimise 'green energy systems' production by optimising the building gas & electromechanical plant and by ensuring that the building fabric is maintained to its optimum efficiency.
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Ensure site-based energy consumption through the analysis and profiling of consumption data, degree day data including the production, implementation and execution of improvement plans.
- Support contracts in related project management of capital works.
- Support in the management and co-ordination of sub-consultants, sub-contractors and the like.
- Support in future planning (five-year plan term) of planned preventative maintenance type tasks.
- Lead maintaining and implementing the Leisure Energy Management System and driving continual improvement and reduction in consumption and carbon without reducing the customer experience.
- Management of energy data through Automatic Monitoring & Targeting and energy bureau platform such as SystemsLink and IMServ - Data Vision.
- Support in maintaining and retaining certification to the ISO 50001:2018 standard supported by Leisure Energy Team and Energy, Environmental & Sustainability team.
- Collaborate with Contract Managers, Building Services and Operational staff in energy reduction.
- Report on energy management performance against internal consumption reduction targets with contract-based management and operational team.
- Network to identify and shape energy management opportunities through innovation, technology advancements and funding schemes.
Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Experience as a Technical and Energy Manager, preferably within the Leisure sector or similar, with a thorough and in-depth knowledge of health, safety, welfare procedure and buildings related Statutory Regulation, Approved Codes of Practice.
- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and electro-mechanical equipment Statutory Regulation, Approved Codes of practice.
- A thorough and in-depth knowledge of quality procedures.
- An understanding in the requirements to delivery of ISO 50001 EnMS.
- Knowledgeable of HVAC preferably design, operation and maintenance and BMS, commissioning, control strategies & operation.
- Experience of conducting energy audits and review.
- Computer literate with the full MS Suite and effective use of computer aided facility management systems.
- Preferable knowledge on pool plant operation and SFG 20 technical maintenance strategy.
- Technical qualification(s) in an appropriate building maintenance and energy related subject.
