Ready to make an impact?As a Refuse and Recycling Supervisor in our Environmental Services team, you\’ll ensure the safe, professional and efficient delivery of operational services, including frontline supervision and leadership of contract staff throughout the employee life cycle.You\’ll be entrusted to:
- Monitor and inspect the standards of work completed, dealing with any matters which arise promptly
- Work as part of the Management & Supervisory team, putting forward suggestions and ideas for improvements in service provision
- Supervise and coordinate programme works as part of the cleansing requirement/ schedule of works
- Be aware of the commercial and financial expectations, proactively managing resources to meet and exceed the requirements
- Be responsible for the recruitment, induction, supervision, management and leadership of employees ensuring that resources are available and utilised effectively
- Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met, including the wearing of PPE and the adherence of safe working practices

- Working knowledge within Waste, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance or equivalent environment

- Driving Licence is essential. HGV Licence Holder is desirable
