Overview
Band 6: Permanent, Full Time - 39 hours p/w, (earlies, lates and weekends on a rota basis). Responsibilities
As the Relief Duty Manager, you will work within the Swallows Leisure Centre while ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care. You will be reporting to the Duty Manager and in the Duty Manager's absence, you will be managing the facility and ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard. Supervise specific activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and work on the safe handling and set up of equipment. Support the team to ensure pool activity operates smoothly; the centre relies on a close-knit, supportive team to provide an inclusive leisure hub for the community.
What you’ll need to do the role
We are looking to hear from candidates who have previous experience in a leisure environment, as well as previous experience of pool supervision and a can-do attitude. As the Relief Duty Manager you’ll need to be safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations. You’ll need strong swimming skills and it’s essential that you hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent & a first aid qualification.
