To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team, and right now we are looking to recruit for a Relief Duty Manager to join the team. As the Relief Duty Manager, you will work within the Maidstone Leisure Centre whilst ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care. You will be reporting to the duty manager and in the duty manager's absence, you will be managing the facility and ensure all activities are delivered to a high standard.
Furthermore, you will be involved in supervising specific activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and working on the safe handling and set up of equipment. Without you there can't be any pool activity. But you won't be working alone. Our leisure centre has a close knit and supportive team, all working towards providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community. We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities. What you'll need to do the role:
- Previous experience in a leisure environment.
- Previous experience of pool supervision.
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude to get the job done.
- Safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations.
- Strong swimming skills.
- Desirable to hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent.
