As the AESAS Delivery Manager at RNAS Yeovilton, you'll lead the safe, compliant and effective delivery of Aviation Engineering and Safety Assurance Services (AESAS) contract outputs at RNAS Yeovilton as the site lead. The AESAS Delivery Manager is also the operational lead for the AESAS contract across RNAS Culdrose. You'll provide operational leadership, build trusted customer relationships and ensure service delivery meets the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
By leading critical aviation engineering support activities, you'll help maintain operational readiness, support national defence capabilities and create a positive impact through safe and reliable service delivery. Working closely with Royal Navy stakeholders and Serco colleagues, you'll help create impactful solutions that support the future while providing headroom for people to grow.
What you'll do as a AESAS Delivery Manager
- Act as the Serco lead for operational activities for the AESAS 26 contract (both Culdrose and Yeovilton).
- Act as the senior Serco lead on site, providing operational leadership and oversight across all AESAS activities.
- Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of AESAS contract outputs at RNAS Yeovilton, ensuring contractual requirements are achieved safely, effectively and efficiently.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Royal Navy customers and key stakeholders, representing Serco at meetings and governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with Military Aviation Authority (MAA), Military Regulatory Publications (MRP) Part 145, RA4801 and contractual requirements.
- Provide leadership and line management to AESAS employees, supporting recruitment, development, engagement and retention.
- Lead performance reporting, risk management and continuous improvement activities, ensuring delivery against key performance indicators and customer expectations.
Does this sound like you?
- An experienced aircraft engineer with the capability to hold Form 4 responsibilities and delegated engineering level J RN/authority requirements.
- Qualified to degree level or holding a Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma in an engineering discipline
- A Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer and a registered member of a relevant professional institution.
- Significant experience within a civil or military aviation environment, with a strong understanding of airworthiness and aviation regulatory requirements.
- A proven leader who inspires trust, builds collaborative relationships and communicates effectively with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, you will need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
