Position: Maintenance Operative
Location: AASC – Wigan, UK
Job Type and Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00.
Salary and Benefits:
- £27,500 – £33,500 depending on experience & skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and proactive repairs, including pre‑planned work from management, to required standards and within SLA deadlines.
- Ensure health and safety of self and all users of the property before, during and after work.
- Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved suppliers only.
- Maintain company vehicles in a professional and clean condition; vehicle inspections carried out regularly.
- Work independently and manage own workflow; collaborate with team members when required.
- Participate in on‑call duties and out‑of‑hours rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover, once every 8‑10 weeks.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating or similar field.
- Ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
- Expectation of obtaining security clearance checks and Home Office approval.
