IT Support Assistant in our Defence Academy team, you'll provide vital first- and second-line technical support that helps keep essential technology services running smoothly.

  • What you\'ll do as a IT Support Assistant
  • Provide first- and second-line IT support, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
  • Prepare, configure, deploy, collect, and support end-user devices, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, including auditing equipment and updating asset databases.
  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and associated applications.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment audit discrepancies and support the disposal of obsolete technology in line with procedures.
  • Contribute to IT projects, refresh programmes, knowledge management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
