To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for Swimming and Dry Course Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage, develop and monitor the swimming lessons programme, ensuring a safe, consistent and high-quality experience for customers.
- Recruit, support and coordinate swimming teachers, including rotas, performance management, training and qualifications.
- Plan and introduce new sessions, courses and products that respond to community needs and drive participation and retention.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, schools and stakeholders, responding to feedback and resolving issues effectively.
- Monitor performance through key metrics such as participation, occupancy, income and customer feedback, using insights to improve delivery.
- Support marketing, promotion and reporting activities to grow the programme and demonstrate its impact.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating swimming lessons or a similar activity programme in a leisure or community setting.
- A recognised swimming teaching qualification and up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.
- Strong people management skills, with confidence supporting and motivating colleagues.
- Organisational skills to manage schedules, performance data and compliance requirements.
- A customer-focused mindset, with pride in creating welcoming, inclusive environments.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements.
- You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
