As a Strategic Bids Architect, you\’ll be at the forefront of this mission – leading the design of next-generation digital, data, and AI solutions for some of the most important public sector programmes in the UK and around the world.
You\’ll work closely with senior leaders across government and the public sector, partnering with CXOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Directors of Transformation to craft visionary yet deliverable solutions that make a tangible difference to citizens.

- Engage and influence senior stakeholders at CXO and Director level within client organisations.
- Lead opportunity shaping and solution design for strategic public sector bids and transformation programmes.
- Play a critical role shaping the market and influencing opportunities.
- Drive User-Centric Problem-Solving designs with end-user productivity and operational efficiency at the core not just architectural elegance.
- Integrate cloud, data, automation, and AI to deliver measurable improvements in service performance, citizen experience, and efficiency.
- Partner with delivery leaders within Serco to ensure architectural integrity, deliverability, and governance from design through mobilisation.
- Drive collaboration with strategic technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, ServiceNow, and others) to bring the best of digital innovation to the public sector.
- Promote responsible and ethical AI, ensuring transparency, inclusion, and accountability in every solution.
You bring…
- Proven experience leading digital, data, or AI solution architectures for major public sector or complex transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of government digital, data, and AI strategies (e.g. GDS, CDDO, NHS, MoD, or international equivalents).
- Ability to engage confidently at executive level, shaping opportunities alongside senior client and internal stakeholders.
- Deep technical curiosity and creativity – you see technology as a means to improve society, not just systems.
- Commercial awareness and delivery insight – you balance innovation with practicality and value.
