You'll join a small, motivated team that provides a flexible and high quality service across the airfield. Through your role, you'll directly support airport operations and contribute to a safer future for colleagues, partners, and the wider aviation community.
What you’ll do as a Manoeuvring Area Safety Officer
- Oversee safe airside operations.
- Carry out aerodrome surface inspections in line with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and local procedures.
- Undertake airside operational duties as required by the Aerodrome Authority and management.
- Supervise aerodrome works and support night time supervision when required.
- Provide vehicle escorts and issue airside permits.
- Undertake habitat management duties and deliver airside driver training.
- Build positive working relationships with airport departments, the aerodrome management team, external agencies, and relevant stakeholders.

- A full current driving licence.
- The ability to obtain a shotgun licence (training will be provided where required).
