About the role
We’re looking for a Membership Advisor to join our team and play a key role in driving growth, building relationships and delivering a positive experience for every customer.
What you’ll do:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end sales journey, helping to grow membership while delivering excellent customer care.
- Drive membership sales by achieving monthly targets and supporting retention activities.
- Welcome customers, handle enquiries and ensure every interaction is timely and professional.
- Deliver engaging tours of the facility and convert visits into memberships.
- Build relationships with local businesses and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Support and deliver marketing campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
- Plan and attend outreach events to generate leads and raise local awareness.
- Maintain accurate records and manage the membership database in line with procedures.
- Work closely with gym colleagues to support renewals and ongoing member engagement.
- Contribute ideas on industry trends and opportunities to help shape future growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales-focused role, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Confidence working with numbers and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and calm under pressure.
- Previous experience working in either a sales or customer‑facing role.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- High standards of personal presentation.
