Location: RH16 1UA

Full Time: 39 hours per week

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 3.30pm and Friday 7am - 2.30pm with 30 minute unpaid break. Options for weekend overtime.

Keep your streets clean and your community proud. Join our Mid Sussex team as a Refuse and Recycling Loader and play a vital role in keeping Haywards Heath clean, safe, and sustainable. Working alongside a professional and friendly team, you'll deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. Your efforts will help maintain high standards across the community while providing excellent customer service every step of the way.

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Complete a pre-planned route with the driver and loaders in your team, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
  • Be the public face of Serco in the community.
  • Contribute to keeping the area beautiful, safe and a clean place to live and work - a responsibility we take great pride in!

Please note, our hub is moving - While initially you'll join us in Haywards Heath, in 2026 you'll be based out of East Grinstead. Please feel free to discuss this with your recruiter if you need any further information!
