Role Overview
Assists with the repair and maintenance of Asylum Accommodation properties, ensuring all reactive and planned work meets required standards and SLA deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks across the Wigan area, including joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating.
- Operate within flexible working hours (Mon‑Fri 08:00‑18:00) and travel within the region; perform occasional UK travel.
- Manage vehicle inspections and maintain a neat, professional condition.
- Purchase and manage materials using company account cards from approved suppliers.
- Ensure health & safety compliance for self and property users during and after works.
- Participate in on‑call duties on a rota basis, covering emergencies once every 8–10 weeks.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting or decorating.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region and occasionally across the UK.
- Ability to manage workflow independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintain health & safety standards and documented vehicle inspections.
