As a Trainee Duty Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring the leisure centre operates safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll support colleagues, customers and the wider community by helping create an environment where people can stay active, improve their wellbeing and enjoy a positive experience.

What you'll do as a Duty Manager
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the leisure centre, ensuring safe opening and closing procedures are followed at all times.
- Lead, deploy and motivate operational teams to deliver high-quality services across the facility.
- Maintain a strong on-site presence, responding positively to customer needs, feedback and incidents.
- Take control during emergencies, accidents or operational issues, acting calmly and decisively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, Serco Management System procedures and site operating plans.
- Support the performance, training and engagement of colleagues, including absence management and investigations where required.
