London Cycle Hire has an exciting opportunity available for a Night Senior On Street Operative.

Role Overview:

This role reports to the Night Control Room Operative and involves routine maintenance on bicycles and e-Bikes, including functional checks and repairs. Responsibilities include replacing e-Bike batteries based on customer demand and providing exceptional customer service across the scheme.

Additional duties include providing cover for the control centre, dispatching jobs for other operatives, supporting team members, liaising with the On Call Manager, and resolving technical and operational issues on the street or in the depot.

Importance of the Role:

This position is crucial due to the expanding e-Bike fleet and increased customer demand. It ensures efficient maintenance and servicing to meet KPIs and maintain service reliability.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK Driving License (Category B) held for at least one year
• Basic knowledge of bicycle maintenance
• Experience driving or riding in London
• Experience with Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), Microsoft Office 365, and managing small teams
