Hourly Rate: £10.85 to £12.71 plus excellent benefits

As a Bar Assistant in our Citizen Services team, you'll help create a welcoming environment for guests by delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the bar. Your work has purpose, helping ensure every customer enjoys a positive and memorable experience.

What you’ll do as a Bar Assistant

• - Deliver excellent customer service to guests in a friendly and professional manner




• - Prepare and serve drinks safely, efficiently, and in line with operational procedures




• - Handle customer transactions accurately and responsibly




• - Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant bar environment




• - Support the efficient operation of the venue and assist colleagues where required




• - Help create a positive experience that keeps customers returning

• - Ability to work flexibly, including weekends




• - Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team




• - Experience in a customer‑facing environment is desirable




• - Level 2 Food Safety qualification is desirable
