Salary: £24,000 plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 or 09:00 to 17:00 (30-minute break)

As an Administrator in our Employment, Skills and Training (EST) team, you'll support the smooth delivery of our Restart Contract, helping colleagues and participants achieve meaningful outcomes that positively impact communities. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our operations run efficiently and professionally day to day. From welcoming visitors to maintaining accurate data and supporting learning activities, your work will directly contribute to helping individuals gain skills, improve employability and move towards a brighter future.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service when supporting participants, learners and colleagues
  • Manage reception duties, welcoming visitors and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience
  • Maintain accurate records and input data quickly and accurately across systems
  • Monitor shared inboxes and phone lines, responding to or escalating queries as appropriate
  • Manage petty cash in an accurate and timely way
  • Support coordination of training sessions, including booking rooms, tutors and learning materials
  • Contribute to general office administration, facilities coordination and team activities

What you'll need

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a front of house or administration role
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage your workload effectively
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Vetting and checks

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role. This role also requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards.
