As a Technical & Logistics Support in our Aircraft Engineering Support and Airfield Services team, you'll provide vital technical support for the management of deployable spares, uninstalled aviation assets and engineering data in a highly regulated aviation environment. Your work will help ensure that critical aircraft components are maintained, stored and managed to the highest standards, supporting operational readiness and safety. Every task you complete contributes to keeping essential aviation services running and making a positive impact on the people and communities that rely on them.
What you'll do as Logistics and Technical Support:
- Carry out Anti Deterioration Maintenance for deployable spares packs and uninstalled aviation assets
- Support the management, conditioning and packaging of assets, including view and verify processes
- Assist with tracking and resolving high value or missing assets within engineering stores
- Maintain compliance with customer, regulatory and safety standards at all times
- Report quality issues and support continuous improvement and assurance activities
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and stakeholders to support operational delivery

- Strong understanding of safety, compliance and engineering standards and systems
- Familiarity with engineering or asset management systems such as GOLDesp, JAMES or similar

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance.
