As a Lead Administrator - Year in Industry Student in our Defence team, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day business operations while contributing to work that helps deliver vital services at the Defence Academy of the UK. This placement is designed to build real-world skills, confidence and insight across a large, purpose-driven organisation.

You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, supporting projects and core administrative activities that help teams operate smoothly and effectively. What you’ll do as a Lead Administrator - Year in Industry Student

  • Support daily administrative operations, including scheduling, document handling and accurate data entry
  • Help organise meetings, prepare materials, draft correspondence and maintain trackers
  • Work with project leads to support coordination, research and task follow-up
  • Gain exposure to business areas such as projects, finance administration, procurement research, HR coordination and customer service
