What you’ll do
As a member of our HR Shared Services team, you will provide first-tier administrative support via telephone, email, and webchat, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all queries. This is a key frontline role where you will support employees, managers, and third parties with a wide range of HR queries and processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Providing advice and guidance on HR administrative queries covering the full employee lifecycle.
- Responding to and supporting GDPR requests from receipt to collation, ensuring legal compliance and deadlines are met.
- Supporting Absence Management queries, including escalations and technical navigation.
- Producing Employment and Financial references for current and former employees.
- Managing core admin duties including post handling, updating internal HR collateral, and supporting engagement activities.
- Assisting with Middle East HR Administration and acting as a point of contact during peak times.
- Accurately capturing all interactions in our CRM system, ensuring records are up to date and stored correctly.
What you’ll need to do the role
- Customer-focused, with a friendly, professional, and proactive approach.
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Able to work under pressure, manage high volumes of queries, and meet tight deadlines.
- Confident using MS Office and operating within digital systems and CRM platforms.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, Grades A–C.
- Proven experience in a Customer Service or HR environment.
- Strong telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Experience working to KPIs and SLAs in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of data protection and records management (GDPR).
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
