Salary: £36,191.59 per annum plus shift allowance
Schedule: Full time 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days including weekend working and bank holidays.

As an HRC Supervisor in our Household Recycling Centre team, you'll lead the day‑to‑day running of a busy civic amenity site, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality service delivery. You'll play a key role in helping communities recycle more effectively and reduce waste. In this role, your work has real purpose. You'll support the public to separate waste correctly, maximise recycling rates, and ensure operations run smoothly and safely. Every day, your leadership helps create a cleaner, more sustainable environment while delivering a positive impact on local communities.
What you'll do as a HRC Supervisor:
- Oversee daily operations of the Household Recycling Centre, ensuring full compliance with regulations and site procedures
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of colleagues to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards
- Manage rotas, timesheets, absence, and overtime requirements
- Monitor performance against key service targets and ensure accurate waste reporting and data recording
- Maintain site standards, including cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of equipment and facilities
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and members of the public to support effective service delivery
