Overview
Electrician.
Field Based - covering Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
Band 6: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week, typically between 08:00 and 18:00, with participation in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours working requirements.
On Call Allowance £205 per call out + time and a half overtime pay).
£42,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card, plus excellent benefits.

As an Electrician in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) team, you\'ll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and certification across a portfolio of residential properties.

Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and remedial electrical works across domestic properties, including fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect, test and certify electrical installations, completing all required documentation and compliance certification.
- Service and maintain electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and heating systems.
- Provide technical advice and support to maintenance colleagues and help resolve complex electrical issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly and within agreed service levels and performance targets.
- Work collaboratively with housing teams, stakeholders and customers to deliver quality outcomes and excellent service.
Qualifications
- Qualified to City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (2365, 2330 or equivalent).
- Holds City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition and City and Guilds 2391/52 Inspection and Testing qualifications.
- Experienced in carrying out electrical work within domestic dwellings.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
