As an Inventory Operative in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) team, you'll play a hands‑on role in helping people rebuild their lives by ensuring they can reach accommodation and essential services safely and with care. You’ll be part of a team that supports vulnerable asylum seekers across the Northwest, ensuring safe transportation, handling essential household items, and helping create safe spaces where people can begin their next chapter.
What you’ll do as an Inventory Operative:
- Deliver and install white goods, furniture, and household items to properties
- Assemble furniture and fit appliances in line with safety standards
- Remove and decommission broken or outdated appliances and waste
- Drive company vehicles safely in line with policies and statutory regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the region, covering Preston, Merseyside, and Wigan
