Your work plays an essential role in protecting patients, colleagues, and visitors. By delivering accurate audits, identifying improvements, and supporting operational teams, you'll contribute to safer environments and a positive impact on communities.

What you'll do as a Domestic Monitoring Officer:

  • Carry out scheduled and unannounced audits across wards and departments
  • Monitor compliance with infection control, cleanliness standards, and service-level agreements
  • Record all inspection activity accurately using FM First systems
  • Produce detailed reports highlighting findings, trends, and corrective actions
  • Track and follow up on non-conformances, escalating where needed
  • Support teams with guidance on compliance and continuous improvement

Vetting and checks: A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
