As a 7.5 Tonne Driver /Loader in our Basingstoke team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Basingstoke. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels ofcustomer serviceto all members of the community that we serve.
You'll be entrusted to:
Drive 7.5T vehicles and carry out the various services associated with the role including but not limited to bulky collections, bin deliveries or Food Waste, across any rounds required.
Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that yourvehicle safety checksare completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
Prepared to work other jobs when vehicle is off the road, for example driving 3.5T vans for bin deliveries or Bulky Collections, or non-driving roles in collections such as loading.
You will be the public face of Serco's Environmental Services team in the community.
