As a Bookings and Events Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running and maximum use of sports and leisure facilities, helping create positive experiences for individuals, clubs, and community groups. From managing bookings to coordinating events, your work will support participation, wellbeing, and community engagement. You'll help create a welcoming environment where activities run seamlessly and people can come together - delivering a positive impact on local communities.
What you'll do as a Bookings and Events Administrator:
- Manage bookings for sports facilities, studios, meeting rooms, and event spaces, ensuring systems are accurate and up to date
- Handle enquiries via phone, email, and in person, converting these into confirmed bookings
- Plan and coordinate events such as tournaments, classes, community activities, and private hire functions
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and event organisers, ensuring events run smoothly and resolving issues when needed
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, including payments, invoices, and reports
- Support marketing and promotion activities to increase bookings, participation, and revenue
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements and operational procedures
