Job Type: Full Time, Permanent - 40 hours per week

As a Chef de Partie in our catering team, you’ll take ownership of a key kitchen section, consistently delivering high-quality food that colleagues and customers can be proud of, while supporting a positive and professional kitchen culture. This role plays an important part in creating great dining experiences that support wellbeing, community and connection. Your work helps ensure meals are prepared with care, consistency and pride, contributing to an environment where people feel looked after every day.

What you’ll do as a Chef de Partie

  • Run and manage a designated section of the kitchen, such as grill, sauce, pastry, or larder
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard, following agreed recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service delivery
  • Supervise, train and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen colleagues, helping them grow their skills
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation, in line with health and safety standards
  • Monitor stock levels, support ordering and rotation, and help minimise waste and control food costs

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to take the next step
  • A solid understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • The ability to stay organised and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements, with Level 2 food hygiene preferred
  • A positive, team-focused mindset and a genuine interest in learning and development
