Salary: 12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time 39 hours per week, flexible to work different shifts including early, late, weekend and bank holiday shifts

As an Operations Assistant in our Lilleshall National Sports Centre, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and well-run environment where customers can enjoy high-quality leisure services. You'll support the day-to-day operation of the centre while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who visits. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Your work has purpose, helping people stay active, healthy and engaged in their community. From maintaining safe facilities to supporting programmed activities, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences and making a positive impact on communities.
What you'll do as an Operations Assistant:
- Ensure customer safety at all times by helping to prevent accidents and responding appropriately to incidents
- Supervise dryside activities, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer care
- Set up, move and handle equipment safely to support programmed activities across the centre
- Carry out cleaning duties and maintain high standards of presentation in customer areas, including changing rooms, toilets and health suite facilities
- Monitor customer behaviour and address unsafe practices promptly, professionally and courteously
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a strong knowledge of the centre's facilities, services and activities
