Location: Quarry Swimming and Fitness Centre, SY1 1RU

Salary: £27,839.67, plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full time, 37 hours per week on a 3-week rota, mixture of early 0530-1400, lates 1330-2130 and one in three weekends.

As a Duty Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and welcoming operation of the facility. What you'll do as a Duty Officer:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the first priority
  • Lead, support and supervise colleagues on shift, ensuring duties are clearly allocated and completed effectively
  • Deliver excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety procedures, company policies and relevant legislation
  • Respond confidently to emergency situations, taking control and ensuring appropriate action is taken
  • Support operational performance by following agreed processes, monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for improvement
