To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit a Technical and Energy Manager. You’ll lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of critical plant and building systems, helping to create safe, welcoming environments for the communities we serve. Your work has purpose – ensuring facilities operate at their best so people can improve their health and wellbeing. By driving high technical standards, supporting energy efficiency, and maintaining safe systems, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive impact on communities while creating opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do as a Technical and Energy Manager
- Manage the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of plant and technical systems, including HVAC, water treatment, and mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and industry standards
- Lead planned preventative maintenance programmes, repairs, and statutory inspections
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all plant and maintenance activities
- Identify and resolve faults efficiently, escalating issues where needed
- Drive energy management initiatives to improve efficiency and sustainability across the site

- A recognised qualification in a building services or related technical trade
- Proven experience in a technical, maintenance, or facilities management role
- Strong knowledge of plant systems, including mechanical and electrical services
- A solid understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
