Overview
In this role, you will coordinate production activities and supply chain processes to ensure delivery of specialist equipment and support contracts across the UK and Europe. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, programme management and procurement to maintain a smooth flow of materials and manufacturing activity. Your work supports defence capabilities with high standards of quality, reliability and service. This is an onsite role at the Defence Technology Hub, offering scope to shape production processes and supplier collaboration while working in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain system build standards for production activities
- Procure, kit, and load parts to support manufacturing and assembly
- Coordinate programme builds within the hub and with approved subcontractors
- Monitor component shortages, expedite deliveries, and support production targets
- Assess new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier performance
- Maintain cradle-to-grave design lifecycle trackers and provide production cost data for bids
Key requirements
- Experience in production, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
- Confident communicator with ability to build trusted relationships
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of defence or aerospace standards is advantageous but not essential
