We're looking for an Order to Cash (OTC) Analyst to join our Group Finance Services (GFS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our global Order to Cash operation, working closely with our offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner to ensure efficient, effective and compliant finance processes across Serco.

This role offers excellent exposure to a large, international finance function, providing significant opportunities for personal development, continuous improvement and career progression.

About the role

Working closely with our offshore processing team and stakeholders across the business, you'll analyse operational performance, resolve issues, improve controls and identify opportunities to enhance processes. You'll also contribute to transformation initiatives that drive greater efficiency, consistency and service excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

  • Analysing monthly controls and working with teams to resolve control failures or observations.
  • Supporting the resolution of operational issues while identifying root causes and preventative actions.
  • Monitoring Operational Level Agreement (OLA) performance, identifying trends and working with stakeholders to improve outcomes.
  • Promoting best practice across Order to Cash processes and supporting standardisation across the business.
  • Contributing to finance transformation, process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.

What you'll bring

You'll be a proactive finance professional with excellent analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset. You'll also have:

  • Experience across the end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) process, from customer onboarding through to cash collection and payment accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Order to Cash processes gained within a large or complex organisation.
  • Experience working within a shared services environment or alongside an outsourced finance provider.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence interpreting financial data, KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Desirable experience

  • Experience working with offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience supporting finance process improvement or transformation initiatives.
