Reporting to the Head of Finance Process and Systems, this is a high-profile global leadership role responsible for the design, governance, optimisation, and performance of an end-to-end O2C process across all regions. You’ll play a critical role in shaping Serco’s future-ready O2C function by driving standardisation, strengthening controls, enabling digital transformation, and delivering operational excellence across people, process, systems, and data.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global strategy for end-to-end O2C processes, ensuring alignment with transformation objectives and control frameworks
- Own global process governance, controls, SOPs, policy standards, and audit readiness across all regions
- Monitor process performance, KPIs, and control effectiveness, driving improvements, standardisation, and operational excellence
- Lead global process optimisation and transformation initiatives, including automation, workflow, analytics, and digital enablement
- Oversee process-related system enhancements and reporting developments, ensuring alignment between Finance processes, controls, and technology
- Partner with Group Finance, regional Finance teams, DDaT, Systems teams, and BPO providers to ensure consistent execution and governance
- Act as the senior governance point for process-related risks, controls, compliance, and remediation activities
- Influence and engage senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and Operations to support process transformation and strategic priorities
- Lead, coach, and develop a global community of process professionals, promoting collaboration, capability development, and continuous improvement

- Significant experience in senior Finance, process governance, or transformation leadership roles
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Finance process design, governance, and optimisation within Shared Services or GFS models
- Strong knowledge of controls, compliance, audit frameworks, and risk management
- Experience leading large-scale process improvement and transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, automation tools, reporting solutions, and digital Finance technologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior Finance, Technology, and Operational leadership teams
- Proven leadership experience managing global teams, process communities, or cross-functional networks
Desirable Experience
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP transformation programmes
- Experience managing third-party BPO delivery models
