We are recruiting an experienced Service Delivery Manager (Out of Hours) to provide operational leadership across the AASC contract in the North West and Midlands & East of England regions. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing Out of Hours Service Delivery teams and ensuring the effective co-ordination of service users, accommodation and property services. You will play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, compliant service in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Out of Hours Shift Leaders and Service Delivery Co-ordinators across multiple regions
- Take ownership of operational performance, service quality and contractual compliance
- Oversee administrative and scheduling processes across the full service user and property lifecycle
- Manage key service lines including AIRE, allocations and bookings, transport, repairs and property data
- Monitor volumes, capacity and performance trends, using MI and reporting to drive improvement
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners
- Ensure all activity meets contractual KPIs, health and safety standards and Serco values
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and managing operational teams in a complex, time-critical environment
- Strong people management skills with a track record of improving team performance
- Excellent IT capability, including advanced Excel and database management
- Experience managing performance, data integrity and reporting
- Confidence leading change and improving processes across multi-site operations
- Flexibility - you will work rotated shifts alongside other SDMs
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across regions
- Willingness to work flexibly in an Out of Hours operational environment
- Successful completion of Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) and criminal record checks (role exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to Home Office approval)
