Qualifications

  • Hold a
  • STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or

Swim England (formerly ASA) Level2 .

  • Holding a valid

  • RLSSUKNRASTC or

STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous; training for these courses can be provided free of charge.

  • Must obtain a DBS check for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, fun and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England Learn to Swim framework.
  • Use coaching techniques to develop confidence and skills in swimmers of all ages.
  • Maintain a clean, friendly and welcoming environment within the leisure centre.
  • Adopt the organisation’s safety protocols and support safeguarding practices.
